Available analysis :
Robust Design is a method to achieve a suitable baseline design
by using advanced tool. LabelMover tool suite allows
this approach in finite elements analysis field.
Serial Analysis
tool is the natural process
to determine the influence of parameters by sweeping on
a specific domain of values. The steps are given by the users.
Optimization
is a more advanced tool to look for an optimum by the
simultaneous change of several parameters. The steps
are chosen by LabelMover.
Tolerance Analysis
helps you to identify the critical
tolerances by a statistical analysis such as production specifications.
With a good level of confidence, it allows to limit the number of simulations too.
These three tools are perfectly integrated as their
interfaces
are identical. The choice of parameters is easy and results visualization
are immediate : by table or graph.
Starting from version 2.3 LabelMover is able to run several QuickField problems in parallel, utilising all processor cores
available on your computer. Automatically generated QuickField problems are united in groups for parallel processing. The
number of parallel groups has a default value defined by the number of core processors and can be adjusted by the user.

Optimization (
Optimization
)
LabelMover Optimization allows you to optimize the geometrical positions and sizes
of the model parts or its physical properties.
-
Goal types : "Maximize", "Minimiz"e and "Close to"
-
The variables available are the same as in postprocessor
-
Variations available are the same as Serial Analysis
-
Direct visualisation of solution highlighted through a single clic

Tolerance Analysis (
Tolerance Analysis
)
Tolerance Analysis is based on statistics
according to normal distribution.
-
All QuickField problem type
-
Variation specs in accordance with a nominal value and tolerances
-
Two types of variation : properties and geometrical
-
Results as histograms
-

Choice of parameters is done by brosing through the problem you have
chosen to solve. You can easily chose physical, geometrical properties,
transformations (translation, rotation...) and results to view.
